The main program will take place in the large hall (20x30m) with an attached stage. Other smaller locations offer enough space for “jamming” (making music togheter without practise); Visitors with their own instruments can exchange ideas with like-minded people here.

Learning with the professsionals
Jam joy
There are Workshops offered all around bluegrass music. Singing, instrumentation, playing together. To the delight of all participants individual sessions are taught by the performing bands. The workshops take place on Saturday and Sunday.
The GFB offers a jam experience that is unique in Europe. In addition to their concerts, the lineup bands also hold jams. This gives the visitors the opportunity to experience prominent musicians from all over the world up close and the musicians the joy of making music together with their idols.

Western fans
For children there are numerous attractions such as pony rides, dream catcher handicrafts, horseshoe and rifle throwing as well as fairy tales from the story of the creation of the Indians. For bigger Kids ther is a Bullriding competition.
For western fans there are animations with known or unknown western characters. Playing poker with gunslingers and enjoying a whiskey at the saloon bar.

Inexpensive overnight stay
For visitors who come on all 3 days, there is a campsite in an open field. There is enough space for campers or caravans. You can also easily book hotels near by.
